Teacher, Painter, Illustrator, Animator, Graphic Designer and lover of all things having to do with cooking and wine
What you’ll see is my portfolio of graphic design work showing a blend of art and design for print and web. Current projects and conceptual renderings will also be featured.
What I’ve done and what I’m doing now
I’ve got over 10 years’ experience in web/graphic design and illustration. I’ve been published in Communication Arts Illustration Annual and created artwork for the NASA Discovery Program missions including the mission identifier, or logo, for the Dawn mission and cartoon character and asteroid belt for Dawn Kids. I was also fortunate to have worked on an editorial design and fact sheet for NASA’s Genesis mission (Search for Origins fact sheets). Collaborating with a game designer, I took on the daunting job of producing all of the conceptual artwork and 2D final digital artwork for a series of interactive games called Lunar Quest for Lockheed Martin. Last year I acted in a short film called Serene Valley. I’m currently teaching graphic design at Pikes Peak Community College, freelancing and dishing out fine culinary delights in the deli at Tony’s Market.
I’m currently producing work for Morehouse Education Resources, a Division of Church Publishing Incorporated based in New York. I’ve just finished creating publication layouts for use on the web called Growing Together, Spring and Summer Volumes.
I’ve been hired by a musician to create the original artwork for a CD cover and website.
